Here’s what the first half of my summer has looked like. It’s involved a lot of travelling outside the borders of Brighton, beaches, cycling, painting, eating ice cream and in pubs (the only safe bet to go with a dog).

Here’s some photos I took of the place where I do most of my work, back in January. It’s a little different now (and a whole lot lighter!) but I thought people might like to see them anyway.
Hope everyone has a lovely Christmas! I’ve spent tonight making our flat look nice and making/decorating almond cupcakes, and I’m looking forwards to lots of other yummy things tomorrow.
I did some behind the scenes picture-snapping at a recent Garage Studios shoot, and used it as an excuse to get a few polaroids of some of the models – complete with pretty underwear and gory fake wounds. I’ve never been on a photoshoot before – never mind as huge as this one so it was definitely an experience and a half for me. Go look at the final image that Dark Daze took because it’s amazing.
& I’m going to Paris in July! I’ve never been before, so anyone have any suggestions of things I should see?
So apparently you shouldn’t put freshly developed peel-apart Polaroids faced together! Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas / happy 25th. We spent ours eating sushi, baking cakes and wandering the (mostly) empty streets of Brighton taking photos.
