Art Book: December
Sunday, February 7th, 2010Here’s the art book I bought way back in December.
The Ballad of Sexual Dependency by Nan Goldin. This has been on my wishlist since I saw her slideshow, Heartbeat, at the Barbican 2 years ago.

Another project making great use of what is left of Polaroid film’s “life”: beforeidieiwantto.org
I can’t remember how I orginally came across this, but I really like this on going collection of polaroids from heybelinda featuring people holding their hands into a shape of a heart. Many of the people are musicians she meets and has them sign the polaroid (like a much better version of an autograph book!). Really simple but such a cute idea when they’re all together.
See all the photographs she’s uploaded so far in her Flickr set: here.
